Swanson Horticultural started with Kelly and Ryan Swanson, a mother-son duo in Northern California, connecting wholesale nurseries & garden artists with retail nurseries, landscapers & the green industry.

We are passionate about connecting plant people with plant nurseries; families, friends and professionals to outdoor spaces. At the core of our business is the belief that environments are important for all living beings; and that stewardship of nature is a birthright. 

This starts with a vision of your environment, whether this looks like plant selection choices to create garden vignettes such as a courtyard and barbeque space to host a gathering; a private meditation space, or other outdoor living like a hot tub; a garden space to grow vegetables; or farm to table concept. 

From a child’s first potted plant, to more complex rhizomatic structures, Swanson Horticultural is about creating a network that connects any point to any other point, one person or business to another. Like rhizomes, our focus is on mapping relationships and creating new paths rather than tracing a predetermined structure. No piece of land is quite like another. In this way, nature is a path of becoming in which we come to know ourselves and each other.
